The Music

50 songs he's proud of. 32 recorded to date. Every single one written on Guilda — a 1977 Guild guitar.

In the Studio

Pure Magic or Nothing

Tucker loves the studio — the creation, finding the right arrangement, seeing his vision for a song come to life. He only records his own songs.

"Sometimes it can be very frustrating getting everyone on the same page, so that it sounds like it does in your mind. When something is played back, it is there or it's not there. If it's not there, I know it immediately."

"But when it is there, it is pure magic."

Meet Guilda

Every song Tucker Peterson has ever written has been written on one guitar: Guilda, a 1977 Guild. No formula, no set process. Sometimes the tune comes first. Sometimes the words. The song visits you and you must act — or it moves on.

He never writes on paper. It's all in his head. When it's done, he writes it down.

What's Next

More on the Way

Tucker can't make it to the studio often enough to keep up with his writing. Tracks have already been laid for prospective 3rd and 4th CDs — the songs keep coming faster than the sessions can hold them.
